We are trying to present the great players to our readers and you are one of them. This interview is very simple, I will give to you few questions, same questions we are giving to every each player (We made already this interview with FrostBeule, Bergie, Lign, Ddie, SiS, Dridrione....). There is only one thing, readers like long answears :). So if you have a time, I will appreciate if you are going to answer it. I know, usually you are not giving this kind of interview, that is why I am trying it. I going to write questions, now. If is your english not good enought, you can use your own language, then I will use translator :)

- Hi dekay, would you please introduce yourself a litlle bit to us? Where are you from, how old are you, what do you do in a real life?
Hi, i am called Pedro, i´m 26 years old, was born in Madeira (in Portugal) but lived in Lisbon for the last 8 years, because i studied Electronics Engineering there. I currently moved to Berlin for personal reasons and am doing a number of small jobs while i finish my studies.
- How long do you know Trackmania and when did you start playing it?
I started playing Trackmania in February 2006, one month after it was released. In the beginning i went to some nadeo tracks servers but quickly i learned that the best players at the time played on a German server called KTD Linux Exp, in which you had to drive Expert tracks.. old school great players like Genesis, Stinger, Ti*, Burnout, Lamer etc all played there and had a fair fight for the number 1 place in the ladder, back when there weren´t any cheaters yet. After the ladder cheaters showed up i started playing on Pro-A tracks and some portuguese servers also and started participating in tournaments, and it all developed from there..
- What teams were you member of and in which team are you nowadays?
I have only been member of two teams until today despite having played in tournaments for a number of other teams. I am always very loyal and commited to my teams. My first team was "timewarp", a portuguese team that at the time was probably the best team in Portugal. I ended up being leader of that team but unfortunately because i had to study too much i had to leave the team and it eventually fell apart soon after. After a while, when i had more time available to play again, i was invited to join "New World Order" (nWo), which concentrated a great number of top players from around the world. The team´s "fun first" spirit along with it´s multiculturallity and the friendships i had there were the best things about it. Least importantly, we won a series of tournaments that made the team quickly develop a high profile within the community and led the team to have a more serious and professional approach to the game. At a time it was too serious and there was too much pressure to perform well and that was opposite to what i felt should be the spirit of the team and i had to quit because of incompatibility in my availability and the team´s attitude towards the game.
Besides these two teams i have never really had any team i was completely part of.. i played for some teams in some tournaments: Opel on STC2 alongside Gnom, Kluhtu, Moriah, Belfegor etc; E5 on the STC5 alongside some of the best portuguese players at the time.
Also i have played for the Portugal National Team in the NC2 and NC3, it was an honour playing for Portugal but also disappointing because i felt we could have done better, Portugal has absolutely top players, and has a good enough team to win a competition like that, in my view.
Currently, i don´t have a team, since i haven´t played for more than a year. I can probably be back to playing soon, i will still make the decision :)
- What do you think was your most memorable match or your greatest achievement?
The most memorable match has to be the Portugal-France for the NC3 semi-finals. Despite having lost it was a spectacular match, specially on the first map. We ended up winning the map with a "royal flush" in the last round, having had all 5 players on the first 5 positions. After that we lost our composure and lost because of lack of experience and also of course because France is probably the best team in the world on a "normal day". Also a very memorable match was a 1on1 against Rask for a competition i don´t exactly remember the name of but i was losing 6-0 on the first map and won it 7-6, driving very constant. That gave me a moral high ground that allowed me to win the second map without much problem and to finish off the match. But that recovery was something that marked me, because i was always on the edge of losing for 7 times and saved the match, and as we know the first map on 1on1 is very important for morals.
The greatest achievement i would have to say was to develop friendships with a lot of players from a lot of countries and having an influence on young players that have completely wrong ideas on what competition should be. That´s a trait that comes from real life and extends itself into online gaming. In "sporting terms" my greatest achievement would have to be winning straight STCs for nWo, even if i didn´t contribute as i would have like to the last one.
- Would you tell us whether you play TM on keyboard or gamepad? Which view do you use?
I started by playing on the keyboard for the first two weeks but quickly changed into gamepad. A Logitech Rumblepad II. I use view number 3 i think, it´s the one that you far from the car.. i haven´t played for a year so i don´t really remember which number it is xD
- What do you do when you are not at your computer, any sport or do you have any hobbies ?
I try only to play computer when i have nothing at all to do or don´t have money to get out of the house :) normally i like to get drunk, play football, go out at night, travel, be with friends, be with my girlfriend, not necessarily in this order xD. I play football for a english team here in Berlin and always try to play football a lot of times a week, it´s a sport i love to play and also watch (i support Benfica).
- Thank you for the interview. Would you like to refer something to the community? Or greet someone?
Yes i´d only like to pass the message that this a great game with a great community and that because of that can limit the rest of what you do in life so you should be careful not to lose the trully great important in life to be in front of a computer, so play responsibly ! Take care everyone and thank you for the remembering me for this interview :)
BONUS:
- Do you know any Czech or Slovak player?
Yes i know a lot, i have played against the Czech national team and Slovak national team a few times and also know some from international servers. I know many but i´ll leave just a few that i remember now (sorry to the others that i miss hehe) : Lamer, Toni, Hakki Jr., Hakki Sr., Haroj, Sandro, Frigo, Daves, Abu, Matrik, Trojan, Agipov, Yazoo, Blade, Daddy, Hadro etc
